Santa Croce
This is a quarter where students and true Florentines. Still free from the crazes of the mass consumerism, the area which extends around the Basilica of Santa Croce is rich of typical views and treasures of art and culture. In Sant’Ambrogio takes place every day one of the most animated markets of the town, whereas in the Piazza dei Ciompi there is a permanent flea market. All around there are many old traditional shops to discover.
